The Canadian dollar closed at its highest point in more than three weeks on Thursday, as US dollar traders looked past strong data and found nothing inspiring in comments from US Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan. Domestic bond prices were little changed, falling early but paring their losses ahead of a speech by Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge. The currency finished at C$1.2278 to the US dollar, or 81.45 US cents, up from C$1.2371 to the US dollar, or 80.83 US cents, at Wednesday's close.
